ADHD Coach in San Leandro | ADHD Burnout & Executive Function
Coaching often begins when a familiar pattern shows up one too many times. Perhaps it's a stack of half finished tasks at home, a recurring tension at work, or time for yourself that keeps disappearing.
My ADHD coaching in San Leandro reaches adults in Washington Manor, Estudillo Estates, and Broadmoor, around Davis Street and East 14th Street downtown, and out by the San Leandro Marina.
Each session is a chance to get curious about how your days unfold. We pick a starting place that feels manageable and adjust as we learn.
How it works
We dig in and get curious
Your first step is a free discovery call. You can share what's going on and what kind of support you're looking for, and we can both get a sense of whether working together makes sense. Ongoing sessions are held over video, weekly or every other week, based on your capacity.
We see whether coaching fits
Before any strategy comes into it, we talk through what your days look like, where momentum drops off, what tends to help on a good day, and what gets pushed aside when things pile up.
We try things and adjust
From there, we experiment. That might mean looking at routines, transitions, planning, communication, rest, or how decisions get made. What helps gets kept, what doesn't gets changed, and you leave with more options for when life shifts again.

When the to do list grows faster than it shrinks, it can help to have someone look at it with you. During ADHD coaching, we focus on how you choose, start, and switch between tasks, and we keep the strategies that hold up. The rest we tweak or let go.
You may have spent years being the reliable one for everyone around you. ADHD coaching for women turns some of that attention back toward you: your energy, your preferences, and the support that would make daily life lighter. There's no checklist you need to complete first.
For many adults, burnout looks like getting everything done while feeling more depleted each month. ADHD burnout coaching is where we slow down, take stock of the load, and plan for recovery in ways that fit your schedule as it is. Small changes count.
If tasks that once felt automatic now take more effort, perimenopause might be part of the picture. ADHD & perimenopause coaching explores those shifts with curiosity and helps you update expectations of yourself. We stay with the practical side, like planning, rest, and how your days are structured.
Some people feel a lot after a late diagnosis and some feel mostly neutral. Through late diagnosed ADHD coaching, we look at the patterns that still shape your days and decide what you'd like to try next. There's no right way to feel about it.
Questions about work can range from day to day frustrations to bigger choices about direction. There's room for both in ADHD career coaching, from managing projects to thinking through what kind of role suits you. We go wherever your questions lead.
Long gaps between creative sessions, a stalled draft, or too many directions at once are common starting points. In ADHD & creatives coaching, we treat your creative process on its own terms and look for ways back into the work.

Testimonials
"I learned a lot working with Quinn. We mapped out a lot of my ADHD patterns and Quinn helped me see many things that I was doing that were not necessarily helping me. Quinn also offered frameworks and tools to help support me when that is what the situation called for."
Michael H.
"I'm truly grateful for the opportunity to work with Quinn. It was an incredibly valuable experience for me. I looked forward to every session, and each one brought new insights. Quinn helped me work through several deeply important challenges, and I feel much more grounded and self-aware as a result. I wholeheartedly recommend Quinn to anyone navigating neurodiversity in their daily life, but not only. Even without ADHD, she is an exceptional coach and one of those rare professionals who can truly change the trajectory of someone's life."
Masha O.
"There is always more to learn and reflect upon; that is what I have learned the most about myself through Quinn's excellent coaching. Despite having a relatively deep understanding of myself and my ADHD, a competent coach's skill is to foster further self-reflection and to allow the client room to trust themselves in this deeper quest for self-understanding. Quinn has a mastery in knowing when to give me space, when to ask a thought-provoking question, and when to remind me of my wins/strengths. I am thankful for this perspective, which coaching offers to those with ADHD, and for its strength-based approach rather than one of brokenness and negativity. Yes, ADHDers need assistance and strategies with living in a world made for neurotypicals, but sometimes we just need to be reminded that despite it all, we are whole and we are okay."

Hello, I'm Quinn Geear, an ADHD coach in San Leandro supporting East Bay adults
Learning I had ADHD in my forties eventually led me from IT leadership into coach training at ADD Coach Academy, and from there to founding Quinn Geear Coaching.
Collage has been part of my life for over ten years, made by hand with paper and glue. The people I coach are usually in a season of change, like burnout, a late diagnosis, perimenopause, a new career path, or a wish for more creative time.

Frequently Asked Questions
What does an ADHD coach actually do?
An ADHD coach works alongside you to understand how your attention, energy, and motivation move, then builds practical strategies and accountability around that. With me, that also includes strengths anchoring, values based strategy, and support across every part of your life, not only productivity.
How long do you typically work with clients?
That depends on where you're starting and what you're working toward. Most clients find their footing within three to six months, and many continue longer for ongoing accountability and support. We figure out the right pace together as the work unfolds.
Will insurance pay for an ADHD coach?
ADHD coaching typically isn't covered by health insurance. It is, however, eligible for FSA and HSA funds, as long as you have a Letter of Medical Necessity from your doctor showing coaching is part of your ADHD care.
Do I need a diagnosis to start coaching with you?
No. I work with adults at every stage of understanding their own ADHD: some with a recent diagnosis, some with one from decades ago they never revisited, and some who have never been formally evaluated and are working from a long held hunch. If a formal evaluation is the right next step for you, I can refer you to a psychiatrist for an assessment.
