ADHD Coach in San Francisco | ADHD Burnout & Executive Function

The adults I coach often have full lives and plenty of ideas, along with a few patterns that keep tripping them up. A late diagnosis, a demanding job, or a creative practice that's gone quiet can all bring someone to a first call.

My clients for ADHD coaching in San Francisco are spread across the city, whether they live in the Mission near Dolores Park, on the slopes of Bernal Heights and Noe Valley, in the Inner Sunset close to Golden Gate Park, or out in the Outer Richmond within reach of Ocean Beach.

Each session is a chance to notice what's going on beneath the surface of a busy week. We decide together what to look at first and adjust as we go.

How it works

We dig in and get curious

Your first step is a free discovery call. You can share what's going on and what kind of support you're looking for, and we can both get a sense of whether working together makes sense. Ongoing sessions are held over video, weekly or every other week, based on your capacity.

We see whether coaching fits

Before any strategy comes into it, we talk through what your days look like, where momentum drops off, what tends to help on a good day, and what gets pushed aside when things pile up.

We try things and adjust

From there, we experiment. That might mean looking at routines, transitions, planning, communication, rest, or how decisions get made. What helps gets kept, what doesn't gets changed, and you leave with more options for when life shifts again.

Messages, commutes, and plans that keep changing can add up to a lot of input in a single day. Our work in ADHD coaching explores which parts of that input drain you and what kind of structure feels supportive to you. We test ideas and keep the ones that help.

Many women with ADHD spent years assuming everyone else had an easier time keeping up. ADHD coaching for women invites you to look at your own experience with more compassion and explore what support could make room for your goals and your rest.

Burnout can be hard to spot when you're still functioning at a high level. ADHD burnout coaching helps you look at how your energy gets spent, where it gets drained, and what kinds of changes could give you more breathing room. We start wherever feels most urgent.

During perimenopause, symptoms you've managed for years may start to feel stronger or less predictable. In ADHD & perimenopause coaching, we keep track of what's changing and rework routines, expectations, and supports so they suit your current season of life.

Discovering ADHD later in life can invite you to revisit decisions, relationships, and experiences with new context. During late diagnosed ADHD coaching, there's a supportive space to explore what that context means and what you'd like to do with it going forward.

Leadership pressure, a crowded project list, and the question of whether to ask for accommodations are all common topics in ADHD career coaching.

We can also talk through a job change you're weighing, with your own goals for your career setting the direction.

Maybe you have ideas for a dozen projects and limited time to pursue them. ADHD & creatives coaching explores how to choose where to put your creative energy, how to keep going through the messy middle, and how to make space for the work that matters most to you.

Testimonials

"I learned a lot working with Quinn. We mapped out a lot of my ADHD patterns and Quinn helped me see many things that I was doing that were not necessarily helping me. Quinn also offered frameworks and tools to help support me when that is what the situation called for."

 Michael H.

"I'm truly grateful for the opportunity to work with Quinn. It was an incredibly valuable experience for me. I looked forward to every session, and each one brought new insights. Quinn helped me work through several deeply important challenges, and I feel much more grounded and self-aware as a result. I wholeheartedly recommend Quinn to anyone navigating neurodiversity in their daily life, but not only. Even without ADHD, she is an exceptional coach and one of those rare professionals who can truly change the trajectory of someone's life."

Masha O.

"There is always more to learn and reflect upon; that is what I have learned the most about myself through Quinn's excellent coaching. Despite having a relatively deep understanding of myself and my ADHD, a competent coach's skill is to foster further self-reflection and to allow the client room to trust themselves in this deeper quest for self-understanding. Quinn has a mastery in knowing when to give me space, when to ask a thought-provoking question, and when to remind me of my wins/strengths. I am thankful for this perspective, which coaching offers to those with ADHD, and for its strength-based approach rather than one of brokenness and negativity. Yes, ADHDers need assistance and strategies with living in a world made for neurotypicals, but sometimes we just need to be reminded that despite it all, we are whole and we are okay."

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What does an ADHD coach actually do?

An ADHD coach works alongside you to understand how your attention, energy, and motivation move, then builds practical strategies and accountability around that. With me, that also includes strengths anchoring, values based strategy, and support across every part of your life, not only productivity.

  • How long do you typically work with clients?

That depends on where you're starting and what you're working toward. Most clients find their footing within three to six months, and many continue longer for ongoing accountability and support. We figure out the right pace together as the work unfolds.

  • Will insurance pay for an ADHD coach?

ADHD coaching typically isn't covered by health insurance. It is, however, eligible for FSA and HSA funds, as long as you have a Letter of Medical Necessity from your doctor showing coaching is part of your ADHD care.

  • Do I need a diagnosis to start coaching with you?

No. I work with adults at every stage of understanding their own ADHD: some with a recent diagnosis, some with one from decades ago they never revisited, and some who have never been formally evaluated and are working from a long held hunch. If a formal evaluation is the right next step for you, I can refer you to a psychiatrist for an assessment.
