ADHD Coach in Mountain View | ADHD Burnout & Executive Function
Moving between a busy workday and life at home can use up more energy than anyone sees. Coaching gives us space to look at those transitions and the patterns around them.
I work virtually with adults who want ADHD coaching in Mountain View, whether they're near the restaurants on Castro Street, in Old Mountain View or Monta Loma, close to Cuesta Park and Rengstorff Park, or a short bike ride from Shoreline Park along the Stevens Creek Trail.
First, we get curious about how your days flow and where they stall. Then we experiment with small adjustments.
How it works
We dig in and get curious
Your first step is a free discovery call. You can share what's going on and what kind of support you're looking for, and we can both get a sense of whether working together makes sense. Ongoing sessions are held over video, weekly or every other week, based on your capacity.
We see whether coaching fits
Before any strategy comes into it, we talk through what your days look like, where momentum drops off, what tends to help on a good day, and what gets pushed aside when things pile up.
We try things and adjust
From there, we experiment. That might mean looking at routines, transitions, planning, communication, rest, or how decisions get made. What helps gets kept, what doesn't gets changed, and you leave with more options for when life shifts again.

Moving from work mode to home mode can leave you feeling scattered or drained. ADHD coaching looks at those transitions, along with how you plan, prioritize, and recover, and we try strategies that fit the shape of your days. Some transitions need a buffer, others a ritual.
Many women discover their ADHD after years of keeping things running at work and at home. ADHD coaching for women focuses on your needs, your energy, and the kind of support that would make daily life feel more manageable and more your own.
Long hours and constant responsibilities can leave little room for rest. Through ADHD burnout coaching, you can notice where burnout is building and experiment with boundaries, pacing, and recovery so your capacity can rebuild over time.
During perimenopause, ADHD symptoms may become more noticeable or less predictable. ADHD & perimenopause coaching gives you a place to sort through those changes and adapt your routines and expectations. We focus on daily life, and your doctor handles the medical side.
Some adults find a late diagnosis brings a lot of reflection, and others are eager to move ahead. Late diagnosed ADHD coaching starts wherever you are and helps you explore the patterns you'd like to approach differently. You set the pace for each conversation.
Maybe you've moved into a role with more people to manage and fewer quiet hours, or you're thinking about something else entirely. ADHD career coaching can cover either, along with the tasks that drain you most and the changes that could make work feel more sustainable.
Some creatives find that ideas come quickly while follow through takes more effort. ADHD & creatives coaching explores how you work best, how to manage competing projects, and how to keep creative work feeling enjoyable and less pressured.
I serve clients in Mountain View and nearby areas
Every session of ADHD coaching in Mountain View happens online, and I work with adults in Palo Alto, Los Altos, Sunnyvale, Cupertino, and Santa Clara too. You can step into a phone room at the office or settle in at home, whichever gives you room to think.
Testimonials
"I learned a lot working with Quinn. We mapped out a lot of my ADHD patterns and Quinn helped me see many things that I was doing that were not necessarily helping me. Quinn also offered frameworks and tools to help support me when that is what the situation called for."
Michael H.
"I'm truly grateful for the opportunity to work with Quinn. It was an incredibly valuable experience for me. I looked forward to every session, and each one brought new insights. Quinn helped me work through several deeply important challenges, and I feel much more grounded and self-aware as a result. I wholeheartedly recommend Quinn to anyone navigating neurodiversity in their daily life, but not only. Even without ADHD, she is an exceptional coach and one of those rare professionals who can truly change the trajectory of someone's life."
Masha O.
"There is always more to learn and reflect upon; that is what I have learned the most about myself through Quinn's excellent coaching. Despite having a relatively deep understanding of myself and my ADHD, a competent coach's skill is to foster further self-reflection and to allow the client room to trust themselves in this deeper quest for self-understanding. Quinn has a mastery in knowing when to give me space, when to ask a thought-provoking question, and when to remind me of my wins/strengths. I am thankful for this perspective, which coaching offers to those with ADHD, and for its strength-based approach rather than one of brokenness and negativity. Yes, ADHDers need assistance and strategies with living in a world made for neurotypicals, but sometimes we just need to be reminded that despite it all, we are whole and we are okay."

Hello, I'm Quinn Geear, an ADHD coach in Mountain View for adults in the South Bay
My years in IT leadership taught me to recognize patterns and translate overwhelming information into something doable. After an ADHD diagnosis in my forties, I trained with ADD Coach Academy and founded Quinn Geear Coaching.
Making analog collage has been a steady part of my life for more than a decade. Adults who reach out to me are usually facing burnout, perimenopause, a late diagnosis, a career transition, or creative work they want more room for.

Frequently Asked Questions
What does an ADHD coach actually do?
An ADHD coach works alongside you to understand how your attention, energy, and motivation move, then builds practical strategies and accountability around that. With me, that also includes strengths anchoring, values based strategy, and support across every part of your life, not only productivity.
How long do you typically work with clients?
That depends on where you're starting and what you're working toward. Most clients find their footing within three to six months, and many continue longer for ongoing accountability and support. We figure out the right pace together as the work unfolds.
Will insurance pay for an ADHD coach?
ADHD coaching typically isn't covered by health insurance. It is, however, eligible for FSA and HSA funds, as long as you have a Letter of Medical Necessity from your doctor showing coaching is part of your ADHD care.
Do I need a diagnosis to start coaching with you?
No. I work with adults at every stage of understanding their own ADHD: some with a recent diagnosis, some with one from decades ago they never revisited, and some who have never been formally evaluated and are working from a long held hunch. If a formal evaluation is the right next step for you, I can refer you to a psychiatrist for an assessment.
