ADHD Coach in Danville | ADHD Burnout & Executive Function
Some adults come to coaching with a long list of goals, and others come with one nagging question. Either way, the first step is understanding what has been using up the most energy.
Clients for my ADHD coaching in Danville live all around town, from the blocks near Hartz Avenue and the Iron Horse Trail downtown to Sycamore Valley and the neighborhoods off Diablo Road.
We look at the tasks and moments that drain more than expected, and at the ones that give energy back. From there we test small changes and keep what works.
How it works
We dig in and get curious
Your first step is a free discovery call. You can share what's going on and what kind of support you're looking for, and we can both get a sense of whether working together makes sense. Ongoing sessions are held over video, weekly or every other week, based on your capacity.
We see whether coaching fits
Before any strategy comes into it, we talk through what your days look like, where momentum drops off, what tends to help on a good day, and what gets pushed aside when things pile up.
We try things and adjust
From there, we experiment. That might mean looking at routines, transitions, planning, communication, rest, or how decisions get made. What helps gets kept, what doesn't gets changed, and you leave with more options for when life shifts again.

Home projects, admin tasks, and personal goals can sit unfinished while the urgent stuff takes over. ADHD coaching helps you look at what keeps those tasks on hold and try ways to move them forward that fit your energy. Progress can be one drawer, one form, or one phone call.
Being the organizer, the planner, and the one who remembers everything can wear you down. In our ADHD coaching for women sessions, you can look at those roles, consider what you'd like to share with others, and focus on support for yourself.
Exhaustion, a short fuse, or losing interest in favorite things can all be signs of burnout. ADHD burnout coaching looks at the pressures adding up and helps you find room for rest and recovery within your own week. The most pressing piece usually gets our attention first.
If your usual routines have started to feel less reliable in your forties or fifties, perimenopause may be part of the shift. ADHD & perimenopause coaching lets us notice those patterns and rethink strategies so they work for you now.
Some adults feel a mix of reactions after a late diagnosis, while others feel calm about it. Late diagnosed ADHD coaching leaves room for both, and you choose how much of our time looks back and how much looks ahead. For many clients, that balance shifts as the weeks go on.
ADHD at work can affect everything from email habits to big career decisions. Through ADHD career coaching, we sort out what's working in your role, what isn't, and where you'd like to grow. That could mean a smoother morning at your desk, a talk with your manager, or a bigger look at your path.
Creative people with ADHD often juggle many projects and ideas at once. ADHD & creatives coaching looks at which ones you want to focus on, how to get unstuck, and what helps you enjoy the process along the way. Every creative path is different, so we shape the work around yours.

Testimonials
"I learned a lot working with Quinn. We mapped out a lot of my ADHD patterns and Quinn helped me see many things that I was doing that were not necessarily helping me. Quinn also offered frameworks and tools to help support me when that is what the situation called for."
Michael H.
"I'm truly grateful for the opportunity to work with Quinn. It was an incredibly valuable experience for me. I looked forward to every session, and each one brought new insights. Quinn helped me work through several deeply important challenges, and I feel much more grounded and self-aware as a result. I wholeheartedly recommend Quinn to anyone navigating neurodiversity in their daily life, but not only. Even without ADHD, she is an exceptional coach and one of those rare professionals who can truly change the trajectory of someone's life."
Masha O.
"There is always more to learn and reflect upon; that is what I have learned the most about myself through Quinn's excellent coaching. Despite having a relatively deep understanding of myself and my ADHD, a competent coach's skill is to foster further self-reflection and to allow the client room to trust themselves in this deeper quest for self-understanding. Quinn has a mastery in knowing when to give me space, when to ask a thought-provoking question, and when to remind me of my wins/strengths. I am thankful for this perspective, which coaching offers to those with ADHD, and for its strength-based approach rather than one of brokenness and negativity. Yes, ADHDers need assistance and strategies with living in a world made for neurotypicals, but sometimes we just need to be reminded that despite it all, we are whole and we are okay."

Hello, I'm Quinn Geear, an ADHD coach in Danville for adults across Contra Costa
I founded Quinn Geear Coaching after being diagnosed with ADHD in my forties. My earlier career was in IT leadership, and I completed coach training with ADD Coach Academy.
For more than ten years I've made collage by hand, and I bring that appreciation for creativity into coaching. My clients include adults recovering from burnout, adjusting to a late diagnosis, noticing perimenopause changes, rethinking their careers, or making room for art.

Frequently Asked Questions
What does an ADHD coach actually do?
An ADHD coach works alongside you to understand how your attention, energy, and motivation move, then builds practical strategies and accountability around that. With me, that also includes strengths anchoring, values based strategy, and support across every part of your life, not only productivity.
How long do you typically work with clients?
That depends on where you're starting and what you're working toward. Most clients find their footing within three to six months, and many continue longer for ongoing accountability and support. We figure out the right pace together as the work unfolds.
Will insurance pay for an ADHD coach?
ADHD coaching typically isn't covered by health insurance. It is, however, eligible for FSA and HSA funds, as long as you have a Letter of Medical Necessity from your doctor showing coaching is part of your ADHD care.
Do I need a diagnosis to start coaching with you?
No. I work with adults at every stage of understanding their own ADHD: some with a recent diagnosis, some with one from decades ago they never revisited, and some who have never been formally evaluated and are working from a long held hunch. If a formal evaluation is the right next step for you, I can refer you to a psychiatrist for an assessment.
