ADHD Coach in Daly City | ADHD Burnout & Executive Function

Many adults come to coaching because of the everyday things that pile up, like bills waiting on the counter, a job that keeps asking for more, or a hobby that used to bring joy and now gathers dust.

I work with people seeking ADHD coaching in Daly City from Westlake and Serramonte to the Gellert Park area and the coastal neighborhoods along Skyline Boulevard near Mussel Rock Park.

In sessions, we slow things down and notice what's happening in your days. Small experiments guide us from there.

How it works

We dig in and get curious

Your first step is a free discovery call. You can share what's going on and what kind of support you're looking for, and we can both get a sense of whether working together makes sense. Ongoing sessions are held over video, weekly or every other week, based on your capacity.

We see whether coaching fits

Before any strategy comes into it, we talk through what your days look like, where momentum drops off, what tends to help on a good day, and what gets pushed aside when things pile up.

We try things and adjust

From there, we experiment. That might mean looking at routines, transitions, planning, communication, rest, or how decisions get made. What helps gets kept, what doesn't gets changed, and you leave with more options for when life shifts again.

Bills, forms, and paperwork can pile up fast when they feel tedious. In ADHD coaching, we look at where those tasks stall and test ways to make them more manageable, like changing when you do them or who helps. Steady progress counts.

You might be holding together work, family, and community obligations with little room left for yourself. Your needs come first in ADHD coaching for women, and we explore what support could make your days feel more balanced and less draining.

Burnout can show up as forgetfulness, irritability, or a heavy sense of dread about ordinary tasks. ADHD burnout coaching helps you see where your energy is going and experiment with ways to recover, set limits, and reduce pressure where possible.

Perimenopause can make ADHD symptoms shift in ways that are hard to predict. You can use ADHD & perimenopause coaching to notice what's changed and try new strategies for managing your energy, memory, and focus. Your doctor remains the right person for medical questions.

After a late diagnosis, some people want to talk about the past, and others want to focus on the future. Late diagnosed ADHD coaching lets you choose where to begin, and we explore the patterns and possibilities that feel most relevant to you.

Work can bring ADHD challenges like missed details, long commutes, or difficult conversations with supervisors. In ADHD career coaching, we pick out the parts of your job that feel hard and test approaches that fit your role and your strengths.

Too many ideas and too little time is a common creative puzzle. ADHD & creatives coaching helps you decide where to focus, how to keep going when motivation dips, and how to enjoy making things without pressure to make them perfect. Your creative work belongs to you, whatever shape it takes.

Testimonials

"I learned a lot working with Quinn. We mapped out a lot of my ADHD patterns and Quinn helped me see many things that I was doing that were not necessarily helping me. Quinn also offered frameworks and tools to help support me when that is what the situation called for."

 Michael H.

"I'm truly grateful for the opportunity to work with Quinn. It was an incredibly valuable experience for me. I looked forward to every session, and each one brought new insights. Quinn helped me work through several deeply important challenges, and I feel much more grounded and self-aware as a result. I wholeheartedly recommend Quinn to anyone navigating neurodiversity in their daily life, but not only. Even without ADHD, she is an exceptional coach and one of those rare professionals who can truly change the trajectory of someone's life."

Masha O.

"There is always more to learn and reflect upon; that is what I have learned the most about myself through Quinn's excellent coaching. Despite having a relatively deep understanding of myself and my ADHD, a competent coach's skill is to foster further self-reflection and to allow the client room to trust themselves in this deeper quest for self-understanding. Quinn has a mastery in knowing when to give me space, when to ask a thought-provoking question, and when to remind me of my wins/strengths. I am thankful for this perspective, which coaching offers to those with ADHD, and for its strength-based approach rather than one of brokenness and negativity. Yes, ADHDers need assistance and strategies with living in a world made for neurotypicals, but sometimes we just need to be reminded that despite it all, we are whole and we are okay."

Hello, I'm Quinn Geear, an ADHD coach in Daly City supporting adults on the Peninsula

I spent years in IT leadership and was diagnosed with ADHD in my forties. That experience pointed me toward coaching, so I trained with ADD Coach Academy and opened Quinn Geear Coaching.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What does an ADHD coach actually do?

An ADHD coach works alongside you to understand how your attention, energy, and motivation move, then builds practical strategies and accountability around that. With me, that also includes strengths anchoring, values based strategy, and support across every part of your life, not only productivity.

  • How long do you typically work with clients?

That depends on where you're starting and what you're working toward. Most clients find their footing within three to six months, and many continue longer for ongoing accountability and support. We figure out the right pace together as the work unfolds.

  • Will insurance pay for an ADHD coach?

ADHD coaching typically isn't covered by health insurance. It is, however, eligible for FSA and HSA funds, as long as you have a Letter of Medical Necessity from your doctor showing coaching is part of your ADHD care.

  • Do I need a diagnosis to start coaching with you?

No. I work with adults at every stage of understanding their own ADHD: some with a recent diagnosis, some with one from decades ago they never revisited, and some who have never been formally evaluated and are working from a long held hunch. If a formal evaluation is the right next step for you, I can refer you to a psychiatrist for an assessment.
